This is a third part in Whyborne and Griffin's adventures. I am still very impressed with this series. I think the author continues to skillfully combine the development of their characters, their relationship and scary, fast moving paranormal plots. I liked how the plot in this one kept echoing to what happened in Griffin's past and I thought it was believable. I liked how vulnerable both men were and how they would lower their guard to each other and did not really act stupid towards each other.
And it was just a fun, page turner story.
