Romance and other things

Crocodile on the Sandbank - Elizabeth Peters This was a hilarious and fast read. Thanks Zara dearest for another great rec. This is one of the mystery books which I will probably read and reread since the main joy to me was not in figuring out the mystery, which I thought was quite easy to figure out at the half of the book at least, but in delightful characters.

Amelia Peabody is indeed fascinating, even though sometimes I indeed thought that author confused centuries and was portraying modern woman. But it was not enough to put me off.

I did like it a lot and the humor, OMG, humor. "They made a mistake of assuming that absentminded scholar was also a fool". Loved.
