Sharpe's Company - Bernard Cornwell These books are quickly becoming another one of my obsessions, probably at the same level as Aubrey Maturin Series by O'Brien. Cornwell writes action WELL and what more important to me he writes characters well too. I think Sharpe is a great character, Cornwell somehow managed to make him a brilliant officer without making him, I don't know? Limited somehow? Even though he keeps saying that the war is the only thing he knows how to do well, or something to that effect. And of course I love his friendship with Harper.
