This book takes on the theme of reincarnated lovers, past lives with gusto. It is beatifully written, very tightly, past lives fragments fit the story so well. It is hearbreaking, emotional, interesting.
Had this story not featured the manipulative shrew of the female character, who is the only female character, which has more than couple of lines in the story, I would have given it five stars for sure.
I mean, seriously? Did anybody force Trey to get engaged to her? Did anybody force him to propose? And he is a victim? His passive agressive tactics of dealing with Page annoyed me a great deal. Go get yourself some pie instead of whining about your fiance giving your a fruit salad.
As it stands now, 3.5 stars.
